After dedicating 25 years serving in the military, I'm leveraging my experience and passion for technology to transition into the world of cybersecurity. With a lifelong passion for technology, I'm particularly fascinated by ethical hacking, using my skills to identify and address vulnerabilities in systems. I’ve spent the past 25 years serving in the military, traveling to numerous countries and gaining a broad perspective of the world. That dedication has resulted in a mastery of a diverse set of critical skills essential for success in today’s world.

As I begin to transition from military service, I have been developing my technicla skills in the exciting realm of cybersecurity. I prepared for and obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification and am now exploring the possibilities of this exciting profession.

Performed vulnerability assessments using Nmap, Wireshark and Metasploit. Analyzed network traffic with Wireshark with simulated virtual environments. Gained familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and MITRE ATT&CK.

I am responsible for a 7-member weapons loading standardization section responsible for performing training and proficiency assessments for 65 personnel to maintain proficiency and certification.
